Anybody has any marihuana? Any acid? Any hard drugs? Bring it up here and put it right by the monitor 'cause I'd be really glad to do it. I really like to get f**ked up tonight.

The underground press was convinced that I was a junkie, an acid head. ... But I don't do drugs. I don't like being f**ked up. I've got enough bizarre chemicals floating around in my head. I'm just naturally like this.

I think it's interesting the two drugs that are legal, alcohol and cigarettes, two drugs that do absolutely nothing for you at all; and the drugs that might open your mind up to realize how badly you're being f**ked every day of your life? … Those drugs are against the law. He-heh, coincidence?

I quit smoking. It's very hard, but I'm glad I did. I'll tell you, this war against drugs in the US is the reason I quit because I got too f**kin' sick of being on the wrong side. The war against drugs, which actually is a war against civil rights, don't ever be fooled again. If they cared about us they'd get rid of the number one drug which is cigarettes; kills more people than crack, coke, and heroin combined, times 100. Legal.

You see, I think drugs have done some good things for us. I really do. And if you don't believe drugs have done good things for us, do me a favor. Go home tonight. Take all your albums, all your tapes and all your CDs and burn them. 'Cause you know what, the musicians that made all that great music that's enhanced your lives throughout the years were rrreal f**king high on drugs. The Beatles were so f**king high they let Ringo sing a few tunes.
