Who are you inspired by?

(on her marriage to Andrew Lloyd Webber) It was such a creative time. Everything was happening very fast. He was writing, I was singing. He was inspired, and I was inspired. I didn't really have time to think about it. I didn't really have time to read things about it, either. I got a sense of things, which made me quite nervous at times. But, no, we were running all the time then, doing things. It was fun, but also a lot of pressure.

Ultimately, what we're doing is giving people confidence. We're probably the only people who have an opinion, who care how ordinary people dress. No one at Vogue magazine gives a shit. They work with the designers, it's more creative and artistic they are creating something beautiful. But they don't care about how their readers end up looking whereas we do!

I hope people are reading my work in the future. I hope I have done more than frightened a couple of generations. I hope Ive inspired a few people one way or another.
Actually, the highlight of my life which, of course, had an enormous influence on my writing career was meeting Ruth Woodson on the beach in Santa Monica in 1951, falling in love with her, marrying her, and creating with her a family of four children; two sons, two daughters. My love for them, and growth because of them, made my writing life what it was. Its a process I advocate for any would-be writer.Richard Matheson
One of the most difficult aspects of being an actor is trying to find the right work. Work that speaks to an audience, that you enjoy doing and that is reflective of your artistic sensibility. To be a contemporary movie actor, you have to kill people - that's basically it. If you don't cock'n'load'n'fire a Smith&Wesson at some point in your film career, you're not going to have a film career. There just aren't enough movies that I like to keep me working in movies all the time. Well, let me rephrase that: there aren't enough available parts.

I do not want to avoid immersing myself in trouble to be a mess to struggle out of it. I want to invent, to discover, to imagine, to speculate, to improvise to seize the hazardous in order to be inspired. I want to experience the manifestation of the absolute the manifestation of the unexpected in an extreme and unique relation. I know that only by following my creative instincts in an act of creative destruction will I be able to find it.
