You can really bring so much more to rock'n'roll. Rock'n'roll is the most accepting, is the most fertile ground for creating hybrid forms of music and hybrid forms of show, if you draw from many, many different wells. It's just unfortunate so many rock'n'roll stars only bother to learn how to play like Led Zeppelin and/or the Rolling Stones and that's what you get, disc after disc and show after show."

If we really want to save music let alone rock'n'roll then go to those techno dance clubs, I mean they have all these loud-ass speakers, everyone is always there partying, and so that's how rock is saved from unwanted capitalistic corporation music. And also if all those metal, grunge, rock, and hey even those gangstas want to play then why not start off like the Beatles in cafes, pubs and bars instead of MTV?

"When you go to a show you should see more than four or five dudes on the stage basically playing the CD back to you. You're going to see a show, do something entertaining. The Celldweller live show involves performance art elements, a lot of percussive elements, and video synchronization to the music- as well as the energy of a total live band. Hopefully it's something different than people are accustomed to seeing. I've never been afraid of being different and a lot of times when you do that you're not accepted immediately. That's okay. I've been doing this long enough, if they get it they get it, if they don't, they don't. I don't really care."
