Seneca the Younger

Often known simply as Seneca, or Seneca the Younger, was a Roman philosopher, statesman, dramatist, and humorist.
Seneca the Younger
Seneca the Younger quotes
If one does not know to which port one is sailing, no wind is favorable. (translator unknown).

Shun no toil to make yourself remarkable by some talent or other; yet do not devote yourself to one branch exclusively. Strive to get clear notions about all. Give up no science entirely; for science is but one.

mens regnum bona possidet.
